I agree that there is a load of rubbish on TV these days,they seem to want to have shows 24/7 so you will get aload of crap mixed in with the good stuff,all those shows that were mentioned as being crap I'm suprised that Loose women was'nt mentioned as that is one bad show,I hate it,but I too use my sky+ box(cant get V+ as not in a freeview area)I think that is the best way to watch tv these days,record then watch when you feel like it,just turning the tv on for an hour or so and hoping to find something to watch you will be sadly let dowm! O and I too agree that Larkrise to candleford is well worth a watch even if it is a bit OTT.

We can't get much where tv signal is concerned here, we can't get virgin, can't get sky, can't get the majority of freeview channels, so we just have BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, S4C, 5 and randomly Dave.

There are devices that you can buy, that boost your freeview signal. I used to use one, and it improved it significantly. Plus in your area, I believe that you haven't got long, before the full switchover to digital!
