and the declaration was there cleverly worded, it said that i declare to lead a clean and healthy life style, and that i will report to the medical officer any contagous conditions i might be misfortunate to catch....
or something similar to that, it was a few years age now ;-)

I've been through vetting but for something else; it sucks they look into everything its ridiculous. Do they check family records for the Navy? [I don't see why the health and financial matters of other family matters should play a role in whether or not you get the job but meh]

. . . I did get really paranid for a week or so wondering how extensive the whle process was and whether or not they tag you online . . .

That is very cheeky! Mind you, with the navy, it may be a requirement to be gay. Maybe that's why they asked you? Who knows indeed. I have a cousin in Ireland that is always wondering if her spaniel is gay. Why is it that they always wonder if their gay? They never think "I wonder if me dog is a heterosexual". A lot of people can be like that.

yea they check everything, right back to my nan and grandad....
i told them good luck finding my dad though, havent seen him since i was 7, 6 whole months after they started the vetting, they told me i passed and now i got the treasured mod security pass lol... hey i cant be traced through here can i.... lol
i was called to the security office and the vetting officer asked if i wanted my dads address!!!
i was well impressed they actually do check you so well.... but yea, i was paranoid theyd watch my broadband to... still am abit...
i know they do at work!!!
