Hi
One of the students I teach is going to live in the UK and is going to go to Middlesex Univery. He is planning to be in the UK on September 28 this year. He is looking for somewhere to live and is prepared to pay for the accommodation. Is there anyone here who lives in commutable distance from Hendon (Middlesex University) who would be prepared to help out with accommodation. A room etc would be great. The student's name is Phillip - he is 20 years old, Polish and straight and speaks a good level of English.
Please email me if you can help as soon as you can with your phone number and approximate location and I shall phone you back :-)
love Rich :-)

Mod Note: Please contact this user for details

Who's with Santander and tried to use their card or withdraw cash. Apparently they are having system problems and people can't access online banking, use their debit card or withdraw cash.

I've just been shopping and my card was decline which was so embarrassing. tried to log into internet banking site and that wasing working so check twitter and low and behold loads of tweets of people complaining about it. It wouldn't be so bad if they had updated there website with a message so I'd have know not to try using my card and saving the embarrassment of it being declined.:mad::mad::mad:

Hi All

Has anyone here ever been to the Copenhagen Pride week? I just found out that I'm going to be there at the same time (though annoying am going to miss the main march due to my return flight!) and was wondering if anyone can give me some advice on highlights of the week that I should try not to miss.

I don't think it's a big event there, but I believe it's a very open city and am looking forward to hitting the bars and clubs! Woop woop?

Other than the gay-centric stuff, has anyone got any other suggestions of places I should definitely plan to visit whilst I'm there. I've got 4 nights so sure I can fit a lot in.
