So yeah i met up with a guy today and well if i'm honest i think he's pretty ok looking except he has really really really long hair and i hate guys with long hair but i think that if he got it cut he'll be ok looking? but anyway yeah i'm not really sexually attracted to him but his personality is pretty nice like spending hte day with him today i mean he didn't really sweep me off my feet with his personality he wasn't exactly rather charming or anything actually if it's anythin i felt like i was just spending a day with a friend? also through out the day i spoted a few things which i was already immediately turned off by but i mean i did have fun.. i guess well actually i felt more relaxed more than fun. but yeah i mean i don't think i like ths guy? but i'm confused as to is it becauase i'm not attracted to him and would i end up liking him if he got a hair cut? and also basically what should i be feeling now if i did like him? i would be all swoony and happy? and becuase of the fact that i'm not does it mean i dont' like him and that i shouldn't meet up with him again and not waste each others' time? sorry for the huge post guys i just really needed to let that go >..<

Hey guys its my first post here so i just wanted to open up a wide topic on poppers.

I have recently started going on the scene as i have just came out! it seems like a lot of gay men are attracted to sniffing poppers? all the clubs and pubs i go into stink of them.

I decided to try some out to see what all the fuss was about, but found it hard to find them on-line. Finally i found a store (believe it or not on facebook) and ordered something called TNT.

I received my package the next day and tried it out, I got a bit of a head rush and a stiffer erection but it gave me a little bit of a sore head afterwards.

So what is the attraction to poppers from the gay community?

Ok reason why I'm posting is because just want to know do people think minor things that you get cautioned for like swearing at someone, if it is a first offense should these type of things stay on record for life or not.

I have had only a caution it was like 4 years ago for abusive language stupid I know but I was provoked.The police made it out as if I was crazy person from what I read on CRB check. Now I am only bothered because the type of thing I did was not major and I think if you have not hurt or stolen from someone or damaged anything it should not be on record for life.
Just thinking if certain jobs read the way police described it which is over the top exaggerated, they may think what the hell. I was lucky my current manager knows me and was fine when I explained but what about other situations where things like this can just ruin peoples live for one stupid thing they did like 10 years ago due to the way police describe the incident.

I was born and grew up in the West Midlands, and emigrated to Canada in 1982. I've been back to the UK for visits, but mainly just to see relatives and friends. Not once for even a second have I missed my town of origin or England or any aspect of life there, so I wondered - am I an exception? To me, home is where I live. England was just an accident of birth.

I should add that I don't really miss people, as I'm happily married, and my husband is all I need. (Listen to the Hollies!)

Ok I have this thing where snakes and various other things don't bother me but the big house spiders do!
Right now there is one that gone under my sofa it was huge and I'm wondering sorry if stupid question but do these spiders bite because it was pretty big and fast for a spider in UK. Most people say they don't but I also heard few people say some do in UK.

Gay singer Will Young has been voted the best role model for young gay, lesbian and bisexual people in an online poll.


The poll, conducted by gay rights charity Stonewall, asked 1,003 of its supporters to vote on a selection of gay British music personalities.


Young came first with 58 per cent of the vote, while Alison Goldfrapp came second.
Bloc Party's Kele Okereke was third, followed by Joe McElderry, who recently came out. Lady Sovereign was ranked fifth.

Police are calling on the young LGBT community to help in the battle against hate crime.

LINK, British Transport Police’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender support network, is hosting an online workshop on Saturday, 21 August for young people aged 16 to 24 years-old to discuss their hate crime experiences.

Firstly I'm new here so Hello!

Secondly, I'v got an embarrassing problem and I'm looking for some decent advice from you guys. I began a relationship with a guy a couple of years ago which lasted about 6 months. I'm a bottom and he's a top. The first few months of us having sex it was wonderful, however, one night we were having sex and he pulled out and - this is the embarrassing part - he had feces on his penis. I was really embarrassed and just wanted the earth to open up and swallow me. He was really understanding, went to clean up then came back to bed and we went to sleep. Since this incident it kept happening again, and naturally sexual activity declined. A few months later I ended the relationship due to other problems in the relationship.

Anyway, a few months ago we got back in touch and started an open relationship of sorts. We've had sex three or four times and it's been great but I'm paranoid about it happening again. I have a sex toy and I use that as I read that excercising the anal muscles can help with penetration but it sometimes gets 'dirty' and I'm left paranoid again. I want to be comfortable down there like other bottom guys are, then I can be more confident in the bedroom. I'v watched porn and they're always clean and I wonder how they do it.

It's really getting me down and my self confidence is really low. Can anyone of you help me?

Looking for some much needed advice. I became friends with some guy last year and over the last number of months we became best friends. Im bi, but not out, but I've known for ages i really liked him. He's a real ladies man kinda guy, likes to give that image anyway. About 2 months ago though I stayed in his house, as I have done a good few times, but this night we made out. It was pretty heavy and we did most stuff, it was my first time with a guy too. Nothing was said about it for a week or two, until it came up briefly where he said he regretted it and never wants to talk about it again. He has since started going out with a girl who he sees all the time now and it kills me.

It's Pride week here in Madrid and the parade is today. God, how this depresses me. Sorry to whinge, but nothing makes me more depressed than pride, with its floats of naked flesh and its adoration of the young and beautiful, and the crowds of friends and couples. Over the past 6 months we have had to deal with the loss of my mother - terminal cancer, and she was 89 when she finally passed away.

However, since then we have had to deal with the malicious joys of my sister - apart from getting mum to change her will several times, has been openly homophobic in telephone conversations, gloating in her only letter to us (we have insisted she put everything in writing) and generally offensive. She is also working through a local Norfolk solicitor who seems to have only the interests of her client and her fees to heart, and refuses to answer our questions.

Therefore we would like to know if anyone has details of a good solicitor who deals with homophobic cases, and who we could talk to in regard to certain things.

Are there any good venues in London for gay dating? I've tried a few online sites but in my opinion online dating is rubbish. I am not willing to pay 20-30 pounds a month just to have my photo posted online. I hardly ever get any contacts there at all and I think it is not healthy to spend one's social life online anyway.

I live in London but I still live with my parents, and there is no way I could ever tell them about my sexuality. I could come out to my friends, my colleagues and indeed everyone in the outside world except my family members. Also, I can't go out if it means I return home too late so really late-night bars are out of the question.

Are there any good early evening dating venues in London for semi-discreet relationships?

I just wanted to share this with you, I did some volunteer work for a local HIV project called Lunch Positive, last week. It's a weekly drop in center for guys and gals living with HIV and AIDS, where they come and eat a 3 course healthy meal prepared for them for just £1.

Now I have never done anything like this before and am quite taken aback I haven't done more of this before, yeah of course I perform in local charities but that's easy for me and not quite the same.

So my question is:

Do any of you guys volunteer for local projects and if so, what ones and did you find it as rewarding and fun as I did?

I will certainly be doing more and If you haven't had a go, go try it out, you will be surprised :smile:
