When I came out to my friend I was really nervous, so I ended up making her play a guessing game. She was very supportive when she did eventually guess it (she ended up guessed pregnancy before sexuality. :confused: ) lol

I'm 17 and I'm very new to the LGBT community. I officially came out to myself a few months ago (although I think I've always known) but I'm not 'out'. I came out to a gay male friend just less than a month ago and my closest friend about 2 days ago. I haven't told my parents (eeep! :shocked:), but I probably won't for a while.

I'm just looking for a bit of support and advice aaaand that's pretty much it.:smile:

Hi everyone. I'm glad I found this forum. Everyone here seems very upbeat. I'm not sure why I'm posting, but I just want to write about my situation and see what others have to say.

I've never come to terms with my sexual identity. I think I'm transgendered. In my sexual fantasies, I'm always a woman. I've never felt a strong desire to have a sex change or to live as a woman, but I do like to dress in women's clothes. I did that fairly often when I was young, but not so much now.

I had sex with two girlfriends when I was young. Neither relationship lasted more than a few months. Since then, I've had very little sex and no romantic relationships. A few times over the past 20 years, I've sought casual sex with men. I don't really have feelings for men, but when I'm with them I can pretend I'm female, and that is very gratifying.

More and more as I get older, I feel a very strong, very frustrating longing for women. I'm not sure what I want from them. I don't feel the urge to kiss them or have sex with them. Nevertheless, I feel a powerful visceral need. I want a wife and a family, and I want to grow old with an intimate companion. However, because I'm so sexually effeminate, I know I can never have a normal relationship with a woman. I feel like a eunuch. I've given up on the possibility of ever having a romantic partner.

Sometimes, women flirt with me. I like that because it lets me dream that things could be different. However, flirting often turns awkward when a woman takes a real interest in me and sends stronger signals. I never know what to do then.

I'm in that situation now. A beautiful younger woman has been making advances. I'm scheduled to play co-ed beach volleyball with her tomorrow. She has invited me to go out for drinks afterward. If I were following my traditional playbook, I'd spurn her quietly, leaving her feeling hurt and me feeling despicable.

I'm trying to find a better solution this time. I'm considering coming out to her, although I don't know how to do that. I'm rehearsing what I might say: "I'm transgendered" or "I'm not the man you think I am". I'm very frightened at the prospect of uttering anything like that. Nevertheless, I've resolved to do something when I see her tomorrow. Wish me luck.

Just want to know if this it real or not looks fake but if real damn shows how a joke can cause death, personally I think this is twisted.

I need some advice here

I had this boyfriend, he was a compleat sweetie, let's call him Nick. He was all a boy could wish for, he treated me like a king...to bad i never saw that untill now a year and a month after we broke up. Well, I broke up with him.

All this guy could see was nothing more than me in his eyes, he was in love with me he'd take a bilit from me and he wouldn't go one day without calling or text just to tell me that he loved me. I never saw that though...I always took him for granted, even when I broke up with him saying that I didn't love him, with tears in his eyes he always told me that he didn't care and that it was ok, that nothing would change the love he fealt for me and that he still loved me.

Time passed and another guy cought my eye and it's fair to say that just for his looks i left Nick, but even though I told him it was over he'd still call and act as if nothing was wrong and tat we were still together. Time made him understand that i had moved on to another guy for his looks adn what's weird is that before he compleatly leftmy life warned me that I wouldn't be happy and that no one would loveme like he did, And with that he was up and left.

So a couple of weeks later I began dating the other "good looks guy" and turns out that I don't love him either... cuz now there's a constant reminder of Nick in the back of my mind that even though i'm happy with this new guy Nick's constant smile in my mind doesn't let me be happy. So now i've left the "good looks guy" and Nick. I not only left a guy for nothing but I hurt myself too.

So question here do you choose the one who loves you or the one who you like, obviously if you do like and have feelings for the one who loves you, but not "in love" ...BE HONEST PLEASE!

Hey guys its my first post here so i just wanted to open up a wide topic on poppers.

I have recently started going on the scene as i have just came out! it seems like a lot of gay men are attracted to sniffing poppers? all the clubs and pubs i go into stink of them.

I decided to try some out to see what all the fuss was about, but found it hard to find them on-line. Finally i found a store (believe it or not on facebook) and ordered something called TNT.

I received my package the next day and tried it out, I got a bit of a head rush and a stiffer erection but it gave me a little bit of a sore head afterwards.

So what is the attraction to poppers from the gay community?

I would appreciate some comments!

Ok reason why I'm posting is because just want to know do people think minor things that you get cautioned for like swearing at someone, if it is a first offense should these type of things stay on record for life or not.

I have had only a caution it was like 4 years ago for abusive language stupid I know but I was provoked.The police made it out as if I was crazy person from what I read on CRB check. Now I am only bothered because the type of thing I did was not major and I think if you have not hurt or stolen from someone or damaged anything it should not be on record for life.
Just thinking if certain jobs read the way police described it which is over the top exaggerated, they may think what the hell. I was lucky my current manager knows me and was fine when I explained but what about other situations where things like this can just ruin peoples live for one stupid thing they did like 10 years ago due to the way police describe the incident.

Do you experience homesickness?

I was born and grew up in the West Midlands, and emigrated to Canada in 1982. I've been back to the UK for visits, but mainly just to see relatives and friends. Not once for even a second have I missed my town of origin or England or any aspect of life there, so I wondered - am I an exception? To me, home is where I live. England was just an accident of birth.

I should add that I don't really miss people, as I'm happily married, and my husband is all I need. (Listen to the Hollies!)

What do people think to people having to do some form of volunteering for a set number of hours per week if on benefits?

Personally I think this is a good idea.

I think if done right this could be a success, not only for the government, but for those out of work and wishing to turn their hand to something new or to still feel active since being made redundant. It could be a good training ground for new careers and will give something back to the community.

is there any distinguising features of posters where without even looking at who posted you'd be able to identify them.

Doctors and health officials are being advised to tell their overweight patients that they are fat rather than obese. Its thought that being called fat is more likely to shock them into doing something about it.

Personally I think obese is not such a wonderful description either.

So, I always thought that I was 100% straight, however, a few months ago I decided to watch some gay porn and got really turned on by it and enjoyed it, maybe even more than watching normal porn. After I had finished watching it I felt really embarrassed and disgusted with myself, even though I enjoyed it. Since then I have watchd more and more and started to really get into it. From there I have started dreaming and fantasising about geting with a man or group of males and this has really made me feel horny! After a while again though I feel disgusted about myself for having these thoughts, but then a week or so later I have the same things pop into my head. From this I have thought that I would like to experience something with a Man and have looked at some websites and was thinking of joining one to meet people and experience a range of sexual encounters. From looking at these websites my curiousity has grown because of what I have seen. For example I think that I would definitely try dressing up in womens underwear and clothes. Something that I would never have even considered before!

Who's with Santander and tried to use their card or withdraw cash. Apparently they are having system problems and people can't access online banking, use their debit card or withdraw cash.

I've just been shopping and my card was decline which was so embarrassing. tried to log into internet banking site and that wasing working so check twitter and low and behold loads of tweets of people complaining about it. Gay singer Will Young has been voted the best role model for young gay, lesbian and bisexual people in an online poll.


The poll, conducted by gay rights charity Stonewall, asked 1,003 of its supporters to vote on a selection of gay British music personalities.


Young came first with 58 per cent of the vote, while Alison Goldfrapp came second.

I've recently seen "The Karate Kid" (not my choice of movie) and I was appalled at the amout of violence displayed in the movie, considering the main character is a 12 year old kid.

It occurred to me then that if the movie had been, for example, about the affective awakening of a group of boys that age, there would probably have been uproar and tags of every kind. But hey, it is just punches and blows, trauma and concussions, and a bit of blood. All good family fun.

It speaks volumes about mankind at large, does it not?
